Privacy and measurement
Miltech Monitor uses limited, optional measurement to understand whether its source-backed reporting reaches and helps readers.
Last updated: 18 July 2026.
What we use
Miltech Monitor uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate, bot-excluded article-visit measurement. This is the project’s primary audience metric and is separate from Google Analytics.
Miltech Monitor also uses Google Analytics 4 as optional secondary measurement for acquisition and engagement. Google Analytics is loaded only after a visitor chooses Accept analytics.
What Google Analytics measures
The current configuration measures page views, scrolls, and links that lead to another website. It may use first-party Analytics cookies and collect pseudonymous technical and interaction information such as page location, referrer, browser, device category, and event timing.
Miltech Monitor does not intentionally send names, email addresses, article-form input, or other direct identifiers to Google Analytics. The property is intended to use a 14-month event-data retention setting, and that setting will be checked before production deployment.
Your choice
Analytics is optional. Choose Reject to keep Google Analytics unloaded, or choose Accept analytics to allow the measurement described above. Use at any time to change your choice. Revoking consent stops future collection and removes known first-party Analytics cookies where technically possible.
Google’s processing
Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in its partner-sites notice. Miltech Monitor does not link this property to Google Ads or use it for advertising personalization.
